Dr Nadine Clemo

Nadine trained as a cell biologist, receiving her PhD from the Colorectal Tumour biology group at the University of Bristol. After completing her PhD, she joined GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in 2007. During her time at GSK, Nadine developed deep technical expertise validating and characterising therapeutic antibodies and peptides to support a range of Biopharmaceutical discovery programmes. Her experience covers multiple therapy areas including Immuno-inflammation, Oncology and Metabolic Diseases. In addition to her technical skills Nadine has managed and directed scientific relationships with external partners, initially in biologics R&D space and more recently in cell and gene therapy technologies. Nadine has a personal interest in finding effective ways to work together, integrate and lead highly performing teams to develop cutting-edge science into drug discovery and development.
