Epigenetically programming T cell phenotype for enhanced efficacy

Prof Johnson is a Wellcome Trust Principal Research Fellow and Professor of Molecular Physiology and Pathology in the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience. He is a world-renowned expert on the role of hypoxia-inducible factors in the regulation of physiologic responses to low oxygen tensions. Apollo and Prof Johnson are collaborating on a research programme to identify inhibitors of TET2 as a novel approach to modulate the activity of immune cells in vivo.
